| 9th October | Members of the Suffolk Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament gathered outside the main gate at RAF Feltwell for a three-hour protest. (This a fairly regular occurrence) |
| 19th Jan | The Millennium Feltwell website received its worldwide premier(!) at the Feltwell Historical and Archaeological Society's Annual General Meeting in Feltwell school library. |
| August | Work begins on much needed repairs to St Mary's Tower. |
| 5th November | The Mayor of KLWN visits Feltwell for the first time in living memory. |
| February | Shaun Greatbach wins Dutch Open darts competition; becomes
third person ever to achieve a 9 dart finish live on television.

| August | Karen Pullen, of Feltwell, wins the first heat of West Norfolk Has Talent. |
| August | A report, made public under the Freedom of Information Act, revealed that Feltwell was amongst 537 sites considered as possible areas for disposing of nuclear waste in the 1980s. Thankfully it was dropped at the very first stage. |

| August | PFL receives grant aid from NCC Youth Fund for a youth shelter to be located on the playing field. |
